Have you or a loved one had difficulty completing high school? Have you tried to get your GED (General Education Diploma) and not been successful? Do you succeed in a small class environment? Is it difficult for you to stay motivated in online classes? If your answer was "yes" to any of these questions, we have the solution for you!!
Bridgerland Literacy is offering a hybrid model small class (in-person or on Zoom) GED course for those who want to get ahead. The GED is recognized in most states as an equivalent to a traditional high school diploma. Why is this important?
At Bridgerland Literacy, we realize that not everyone learns the same way. Our class is taught by an experienced instructor who focuses on individuals and is available to answer questions on-site.
The GED curriculum consists of four components including
The four sections of the class rotate throughout the year, allowing for enrollment at any time. In addition, there is a free 30-minute math review after each class period.
Cost is $250 per section (if you only need to take one section, you are free to do so). For those who need all sections, the entire four section course will be completed once per year with classes on a rotating basis. Books and materials are free of charge for students who register for the Social Studies class before September 1st.

- Employment – People with a high school diploma not only are more likely to be hired for a job, but also make about 25 percent more than those without a degree.
- Advancement– The best-paying and often most satisfying jobs require training and education. College, military, and other career-building options require a GED or diploma.
- Self-esteem – When adult learners succeed in earning their diploma, they earn a sense of pride and accomplishment. They learn they can aim higher. For many, a GED is important in showing their children that they value education.
